A new chapter for IAAS LC UGM has just begun. On Sunday (18/2) with a beautiful sunset sky accompanied by sunlight that began to leave its place is proof that IAAS LC UGM has launched a new cabinet “Camellia sinensis”. The launch of this cabinet was held at Sinergi Cowork and Network Space and attended by all members, either old members or new members.
Beginning with a cabinet and individual departement photo sessions, the event then proceeded with a presentation of new cabinet IAAS LC UGM “Camellia sinensis” regarding daily organizational structure, vision-mission, and workplans within the next year from the executive committee and department coorfinators. Then followed by question and answer session, delivery of aspirations, and suggestions from members to the board of IAAS LC UGM.
The cabinet name in this period may be familiar to us : “Camellia sinensis” is the name of a major plantation crop in Indonesia. In this cabinet there are several values that underlie the performance of IAAS LC UGM cabinet that are integrity and ethics, responsibility, passion, and improvement. The vision of this cabinet to revolutionize IAAS from the inside to create tight-knit professional members and spread positive impact on society.
“IAAS is like tea plant (Camellia sinensis), every part of it can be processed into every sector, but a cup of tea is defined by the quality of the leaf itself, not by the quantity. Even if we only have a few leaves, if it has a high quality, we can excees an outstanding value” said by the new Director of IAAS LC UGM, Wihelmina Sudjono in front of all
Hopefully with the present structure of the board and the spirit of the new work ethic, IAAS LC UGM can run the mandate and realize its mission vision in accordance with the hope to embrace members to create sense of belonging. Let’s get the par-tea started!
